Fuente Eterno 2012
March 15-19
Happy New Year Fuente Family!
Your Fuente crew has been hard at work putting together plans for this year’s Fuente Eterno which takes place March 15th through the 19th. This year you can expect a significant dose of the expected and the unexpected as we put our brains together to offer up the next epic installment of Fuente. Please be sure to read through this entire email as it offers some clarification about ticket procedures and some points that we really need to draw everyone’s attention to. As always, if you have any questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to drop us a line at fuenteeterno@gmail.com.
TICKET REGISTRATION BEGINS JANUARY 20th @ 7PM SHARP!
There was some confusion from an earlier email about the manner by which tickets will be handled this year. Tickets will be handled via the exact same process as last year. Everyone will need to register through our website (FuenteEterno.Com). Individuals who register will be able to purchase up to 2 tickets and starting February 1st, we will be sending ticket purchase links to people based on a first come, first served basis. Additional information about what comes after your ticket purchase, deadlines, and camp information will be made available on the same email that contains the purchase link.
In order to complete the registration, you will need:
1) Your Full Name (And that of the 2nd ticket if purchasing 2)
2) Your email address
3) Your full address
4) Any Playa or Nicknames
5) Camp Name and/or names of camp-mates
EARLY ARRIVAL
Due to the fact that we can only have a limited number of people in the canyon every year, our team works very hard to maximize the space that we have available. Campsites are determined in advance and working in as much accordance with camp needs as possible. To that end, early arrival will only be permitted in special cases. This means that passes will be granted to select few people/groups that express a special need. While we really appreciate the gesture of showing up early to help us out, please contact us ahead of time in order to arrange a place with our volunteers. Passes and volunteer inquiry contact information will be made available with the email that contains your ticket link.
LEAVE NO TRACE
While we have stated this in previous years, it bears mention again. Canyon De Guadalupe is a second home to many of us and it takes a lot of effort to keep it in the beautiful condition that you see. Each camp and individual needs to be responsible for packing out all trash and camping items from each camp. Unfortunately, due to some carelessness on the part of participants in past years, we have to be very hard about this. As such, camps and individuals who leave trash in their camps will not be invited back for following years. Again, this is for all of us as well as the family that owns the canyon. Please join us in creating a responsible atmosphere.
PERFORMERS AND SPEAKERS
We are looking for YOU! If you have an idea for a live performance or workshop that you would like to create, please let us know. One of the cornerstones of Fuente is the idea that it is a canvas for expression, and that canvas needs your touch. Please contact us with ideas at fuenteeterno@gmail.com. Please note that for DJ inquiries, you should contact saynt@ninjaskillz.net.
THAT'S ALL FOR NOW! WE CAN’T WAIT TO FILL YOU IN ON ALL THE AWESOME THAT IS HAPPENING THIS YEAR, AND WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING ALL OF YOUR LOVELY FACES IN MEXICO!
