Abstract:
According to the ancients and now supported by modern science, stagnant energy is the fundamental basis for the physiological and psychological dis-eases. We often disregard or silence the body's attempt to heal and thus create further imbalances. In this dynamic workshop, Jessica and Kyle will lead you through a series of tai chi, yoga and dance inspired movements and exercises to aid your discovery of areas of blocked energetic pathways. You will receive tools and the support needed to liberate emotional, physical and psychological stagnation. Come with a willingness to enhance your body-mind-spirit awareness and open gateways to receive greater inspiration, creativity and communion with the higher self.

Vinyasa-Kundalini Fusion Yoga
Friday: 10-11:30am

Instructor:
Amy Toosley

Bio:
For 10 years Amy has taught at various San Diego yoga studios, focusing her practice on both Vinyasa and Kundalini styles of yoga.

Abstract:
Awaken your Shakti, enliven your senses, and connect with Spirit. Yogini Amy Toosley (also known as GoGo) will take us through a yoga fusion blend of Vinyasa and Kundalini. We will heat things up with a vigorous Vinyasa flow, keep the energy moving with an uplifting Kundalini Kriya set, and top it off with a deep relaxation and meditation. This dynamic blend combines the liberating flow of breath and movement called Vinyasa with the most powerful and fastest acting yoga available for balancing the chakras and attaining enlightenment called Kundalini. It is the mother of all yoga styles. This hour-and-a-half session will infuse a vital energy force to your Fuente experience. All levels are welcome. Come prepared to sweat, play in the moment and leave in bliss. Bring a yoga mat (and extras if you have them), water and your breath. Avoid eating at least an hour before the class.

Choose Happiness
Friday: 12-1:00pm

Speaker:
Eric Karpinski
Bio:
The Fuente/Burning Man community is one of the most important things in my life. You all have helped show me how to live and how to love and given me space to fully express who I am. You’ve also given me the strength to pursue passion, love and community in all parts of my life. This helped me find the courage to leave a lucrative but passionless career to become a happiness workshop leader and life coach. Now I want to gift one of my happiness workshops to you at Fuente. And if I miss you at the workshop, find me on the dance floor anytime for an energizing hug!

Abstract:
Do you want to be happier than you are today? Very few people would answer no to that question, yet most of us continue to act and talk to ourselves in ways that significantly diminish our happiness.

I’ve been intensively studying the practical aspects of increasing happiness for a number of years learning all I can from spiritual and scientific sources. There is so much wonderful material that is helping me live a more fulfilling life I decided I needed to share this information with the world. I have pulled the best of what I’ve learned into a series of four Choosing Happiness Workshops. I offered the first at SoCal Decom and will be offering the second at Fuente (they can be done completely independently). See my website (choosehappinessToday.com) if you want to catch the other workshops around San Diego. The most important aspect to take away is that you can CHOOSE to be happier by the actions you take and by how you view what happens to you. Come learn how!

Anapana Meditation
Friday: 9:00am

By: Katya
Come and join us for meditation on Friday morning, at 9:00am.

Learn the basics of the Anapana Sati Breathing Meditation, which is taught in Vipassana (insight) meditation to develop samhadi, a subtle form of concentration which manifests insight into the nature of consciousness.

Anapana sati, the meditation on in-and-out breathing, is the first subject of meditation expounded by the Buddha in the Maha-satipatthana Sutta, the Great Discourse on the Foundations of Mindfulness. The Buddha laid special stress on this meditation, for it is the gateway to enlightenment and Nibbana adopted by all the Buddhas of the past as the very basis for their attainment of Buddhahood. When Gottama sat at the foot of the Bodhi Tree and resolved not to rise until he had reached enlightenment, he took up anapana sati as his subject of meditation.

Please bring a meditation cution or something to sit on. Some extra cushions and meditation blankets will be provided.
