Tickets

March 6-10, 2008

SOLD OUT

Admission to the event is $95/person for all 5 days of the event including parking. The $15 increase from last year is due to the addition of an extra day and, of course, the land owners increasing the rental price on us this year to cover expenses of rebuilding the canyon afte the fire.

If you are camping with a group, make SURE to talk to your friends and decide on a group name that you can put in the NOTES section of the Paypal purchase.  That way we can be sure to assign you to a camp with your friends.

In an effort to keep the event as meaningful and grass roots as possible, the maximum capacity of the event will be between 300-450 people. Once that capacity has been reached no further tickets will be sold.

Campsites have varying amenitites and will be assigned based on who buys tickets first. Most campsites are for between 12 and 16 people so plan accordingly when coordinating with groups for camping.

You need a vehicle with decent ground clearance - A PASSANGER SEDAN WILL NOT MAKE IT. DO NOT SHOW UP WITH A LOW CLEARNCE VEHICLE. WE DON'T HAVE THE MAN POWER OR RESOURCES TO RESCUE YOU THIS YEAR.

THERE WILL BE NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE GATE.
YOU MUST PRESENT YOUR PAYPAL RECEIPT AS YOUR TICKET AT THE EVENT. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Operation Resurrection:
On September 19th, both sides of Canyon De Guadalupe was caught on fire. Pretty much all the palapas and pipelines were destroyed along with all the leaves and trees. The oasis leading up to the waterfall is still unaffected, but Mario's and Ernesto's camp sites were wiped out. I have been communicating with the family to assess the damage and send some help and money to restore the place. OUR MISSION IS TO RESTORE WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE ON FEBRUARY 5-10. Fortunately, Fuente Eterno will still happen and most of the leaves have already come back. The main concern is to get the pipelines back in order. Saynt and I along with our crew of builders are working on a plan to go down there and help out. We will be heading down there with a group of skilled builders and handymen from our community to help rebuild the Oasis. We are adding $20 to our price ticket to finish this task.
